In the mysterious and surreal zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the fates of many characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to collect it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly disoriented tourists through Winnipeg’s landmarks and historical sites. Matthew quits his pointless job in a government office in Quebec and sets off on an enigmatic journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intersect, intertwine, and echo in this surreal comedy of disorientation.
