Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) stars as Ramona, a woman crippled by grief after surviving a car accident in which her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences) is injured. A seriously injured Ramona must care for their 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF) alone on their farm. Then one day a woman takes shape in their backyard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okwui Okpokwasili; Exorcist: Believer, Julie Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) is lost or crazy, but as the woman creeps closer and closer to the house, it becomes clear that she is no ordinary figure. her intentions are not peaceful. Now Ramona must band together to protect herself and her children from the clutches of a woman who just won’t leave them alone.
